The russian Ministry of Defense has confirmed that their missile struck a village in the Voronezh region of russia. This was stated in a message from the military department of the aggressor country.

"On January 2, 2024, around 9:00 Moscow time, while performing a flight of an aircraft of the Aerospace Forces over the settlement of Petropavlovka in the Voronezh region, there was an emergency release of an aviation munition. There are no casualties", - stated the russian Ministry of Defense.

According to russian military data, six private buildings suffered damage as a result of the incident. 

The Governor of the Voronezh region, Alexander Gusev, mentioned destruction in seven residential houses.

Russian propagandist Olga Skabeeva rushed to blame Ukraine for the strike with a russian missile on a russian village. "The Armed Forces of Ukraine have carried out a terrorist attack on the Voronezh region", - she baselessly wrote in her Telegram channel.
