Seventy-seven russian sailors were on board the large landing ship "Novocherkassk" of the Black Sea Fleet of the russian federation at the time of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' strike on the port of occupied Feodosia. This information was reported by the russian Telegram channel "Astra" citing its own sources.

"Thirty-three sailors are considered missing, 23 people are injured, and one person died as a result of the attack on the ship 'Novocherkassk' in the port of Feodosia", - the message states.

Allegedly, fragments of the cladding and the fastening knot of the Storm Shadow missile were found at the attack site. The ship completely burned and sank.

It is noted that, presumably, the ammunition hit the bow of the large landing ship.

As previously stated by the commander of the Ukrainian Navy, due to the destruction of the "Novocherkassk", russia's ability to carry out amphibious landings has been halved.
