The defeat of the russian landing ship "Novocherkassk" in the port of Feodosia refutes the assertion that the war in Ukraine has reached a deadlock, British Defense Minister Grant Shapps wrote on X (Twitter).
According to him, the destruction of the Black Sea Fleet's ship "demonstrates that those who think the war in Ukraine is at an impasse are mistaken".
"They did not notice that over the last 4 months, 20% of the russian Black Sea Fleet has been destroyed", - noted Grant Shapps.
"Russia's dominance in the Black Sea is now under threat, and a new coalition of naval forces led by the UK and Norway is helping to ensure Ukraine's victory at sea", - emphasized the British Defense Minister.
As reported earlier, Ukrainian defenders destroyed the russian landing ship "Novocherkassk" in the port of the occupied Feodosia.
