The Ukrainian Air Force spokesperson, Yurii Ihnat, refuted the russian claims about the alleged "downing of two Ukrainian Su-24s" during the attack on Feodosia, resulting in the russian ship "Novocherkassk" being hit. He stated this in an interview with Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty commenting on the russian Ministry of Defense's statement.

"I certainly don't confirm that. They report destroying five of our planes every day in their summaries. So, there's no need to believe anything here", - he emphasized.

Ihnat noted that Ukraine has Storm Shadow and SCALP missiles in its arsenal, which could be used for such strikes. However, he did not specify what exactly hit the russian ship. He did mention that several missiles were launched at the "Novocherkassk".

"They definitely don't launch just one missile. We understand that the enemy can destroy cruise missiles. But not all of them are destroyed thanks to tactical maneuvers; most missiles reach their targets", - the spokesperson said. He added that overcoming russian air defenses is achieved through specific tactical maneuvers.

As reported, the russian Ministry of Defense confirmed the damage to the "Novocherkassk" ship in the port of occupied Feodosia.
