Russia likely lost four S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems (SA-21 by NATO codification) over the past week. Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty reported this, referencing the British intelligence summary from November 2.

The agency points to russian media reports from October 26 regarding the loss of three such systems in the occupied Luhansk oblast. Additionally, Ukrainian sources reported the defeat of an S-400 system in Crimea.

"Russia has long favored large, high-tech long-range air defense systems as a key component of its military strategy. Recent losses underscore the difficulty the russian integrated air defense system faces in countering modern precision strike weapons", - the summary stated.

British intelligence anticipates that such losses will likely increase the "already significant" burden on the remaining russian air defense systems and operators. Moreover, replacing the destroyed systems, the agency believes, will weaken the russian air defense in other operational zones.

It was previously reported that the Defense Forces eliminated 930 occupiers and downed an enemy aircraft on November 1.
