Four residents of the Donetsk oblast have died and 8 have been injured as a result of russian shelling in the past day. This was reported by the region's police on May 2nd.
"During the day, police recorded 1967 strikes on the region's territory. The enemy attacked 10 populated areas: the cities of Hirniak, Kostiantynivka, Krasnohorivka, Kurakhove, Sloviansk, villages of Zhelanne, Yampil, Dalne, Kalynove of the Kramatorsk district, Kalynove of the Pokrovsk district. 61 civilian objects were damaged - 49 residential houses, garages, a car, power lines. In Kalynove of the Pokrovsk district, russia dropped a KAB-250 bomb - killing one person and injuring two others. Eight private houses were damaged. Hirniak was shelled by Uragan MLRS. Two civilians were killed, six were injured. Three apartment buildings and 18 private houses, 8 garages were damaged", - the statement said.
"Another civilian was killed by russian troops in Krasnohorivka, hitting a private house. In Kostiantynivka, invaders struck with a guided aerial bomb KAB-250 - damaging 10 private houses, a car, and a power line. Five hits were recorded in Sloviansk, where three apartment buildings were damaged. Zhelanne was hit by an aerial bomb KAB-250 and artillery shelling - 5 houses were affected. Additionally, on the night of May 2nd, the enemy targeted Toretsk - there is damage to an industrial plant", - the Donetsk oblast police stated.
