"The Hamas delegation, led by its senior political leader, Abu Marzouk, has arrived for a visit to Moscow", - the statement said.
The visit of Hamas was confirmed by russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova.
"I can confirm that representatives of the respective Palestinian movement are in Moscow", - she stated.
Earlier, it was reported that Israel called for the resignation of the UN Secretary-General over his "sympathy" for Hamas terrorists.
