The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has confirmed the information regarding 21 deceased Ukrainians in Israel. The ministry also reported three fatalities in the Gaza Strip. Oleh Nikolenko, the spokesperson for the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, provided this information in a comment to the Interfax-Ukraine agency on October 26.
"Unfortunately, the number of Ukrainian casualties in Israel has increased. Currently, we have confirmed information about 21 deceased Ukrainians and one missing person. In the Gaza Strip, there are three fatalities and six wounded individuals, including three children", - said Nikolenko.
He further stated that the injured citizens have varying degrees of severity in their injuries and are receiving medical assistance.
Nikolenko emphasized that the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, in collaboration with its partners, is working with the relevant authorities to obtain permission for the swift evacuation of these individuals.
As previously reported, two Ukrainian children lost their lives in the Gaza Strip.
