The occupiers of the "DNR" have mobilized 3.5 thousand miners from so-called "state-owned" mines for the war against Ukraine. These figures are given in a statement of the fake "Ministry of Coal and Energy".
"About 19.5 thousand people are employed in the coal mining industry (at mines that the occupiers call "state-owned" - OstroV). At present, about 3,500 miners (were forcibly mobilized - OstroV) are defending their country", - the message says.
The "ministry" admits that "nowadays there is a huge shortage of personnel in the coal mining industry. There is a significant decline in coal production due to the fact that a large part of the staff, especially underground workers, have gone to the front".
