The detained Deputy Minister of Defense of the russian federation, Timur Ivanov, who was arrested for bribery, was responsible for the construction of the "Nevsky" microdistrict in the occupied city of Mariupol. Numerous publications in the occupation media testify to Ivanov's personal involvement in the inspection of residential buildings and social facilities built by the russian "Voenstroy".
During numerous visits to construction sites in Mariupol, the Deputy Minister of Defense of the russian federation was accompanied by the leader of the "DNR", Denis Pushilin. At the moment, it is unknown whether Timur Ivanov's receipt of a bribe is related to construction work in the occupied Mariupol.
As reported earlier, on April 23, the Investigative Committee of the russian federation announced the detention of Deputy Minister of Defense Timur Ivanov on suspicion of bribery. The official was responsible for all construction projects of the ministry for 10 years.
