The NATO Parliamentary Assembly in Madrid has recognized russia as a terrorist country. This was reported in Telegram on November 21 with reference to People's Deputy Yegor Chernev by Servant of the People.

"All 30 NATO countries supported the proposals of our delegation. Such a tribunal will allow us to convict not only the direct perpetrators of war crimes, but also the top leadership of russia. The resolution will be sent to the governments and parliaments of all NATO member countries",- Chernev said.

The resolution, initiated by Ukraine, is not only about recognizing russia as a sponsor of terrorism. It also provides support for the creation of a special tribunal to punish russian war criminals. Now this resolution will be sent to the parliaments of the member countries of the Alliance.

Chernev also stressed that the resolution enshrined the principle that NATO will support Ukraine for as long as it takes.

It is worth noting that the NATO Parliamentary Assembly is an advisory inter-parliamentary body of the North Atlantic Alliance. Its functions include organizing NATO's communication with the parliaments of the member countries of the Alliance. However, it is financially and administratively separate from NATO.

Let us recall that earlier, it was reported that the text of the resolution recognizing russia as a sponsor of terrorism was agreed upon in the European Parliament.
