The situation in the ATO area has escalated. This was stated by the speaker of the Ukrainian Presidential Administration on the ATO Andrey Lysenko today at the briefing in Kiev, - reports the correspondent of OstroV
"Yesterday was marked by a new escalation of fighting in the East of Ukraine. The enemy brought several artillery batteries to the line of contact and conducted massive shelling at the AFU positions," - he said.
According to him, the enemy fired with guns of 122 and 152 mm caliber. Occupants fired more than 100 artillery shells and more than 370 mortar bombs in the direction of Ukrainian troops over the past day.
