The Servant of the People parliamentary party has officially nominated first vice-speaker of the parliament Ruslan Stefanchuk to the office of head of the Verkhovna Rada. This was reported in Telegram on October 7 by speaker of Servant of the People Yulia Paliychuk.
"The Servant of the People parliamentary party held a meeting discussing personnel appointments in the parliament leadership. By the majority of votes of people's deputies, Ruslan Stefanchuk was delegated to the post of Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
It was decided to delegate chairman of the Servant of the People party Oleksandr Kornienko to the post of first deputy chairman of the parliament.
As OstroV reported, the people's deputies had voted for the resignation of speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Dmytro Razumkov.
