Russian President Vladimir Putin is not planning a conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. This was stated by Putin's press secretary Dmitry Peskov, - Russian media report.
Answering a question from journalists about the possibility of a conversation between the two presidents, the speaker of the head of the Kremlin replied that "so far, there is no talk between Putin and Zelensky".
As previously reported, after the death of four Ukrainian servicemen near Shumy, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that he intended to discuss the escalation of situation in the Donbas with the leaders of the Normandy Four countries, including Russian President Vladimir Putin. "The representatives of Ukraine in the Trilateral Contact Group have been instructed to initiate an urgent meeting of the security subgroup, as well as to urgently discuss this issue at the level of advisers to the leaders of the Normandy format. I will have a conversation with all the leaders of the Normandy Four in the near future", - Zelensky noted.
