More than 900 children from the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk oblast are already studying remotely in Ukrainian schools. The chairman of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Pavlo Zhebrivsky wrote this on his Facebook page.
He noted that the issue of distance education was discussed at the visiting session of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Science and Education.
"This year the Donetsk oblast approached this issue systematically: on the basis of 5 educational institutions throughout the region, they opened corresponding centers, installed equipment, developed lessons. There are first results: more than 900 children from temporarily occupied territories are already studying remotely in Ukrainian schools. Not only 9-11grades, but also pupils of secondary and primary schools", - Zhebrivsky said.
