Militants pulled up heavy artillery to the line of contact and shell positions of the ATO forces. Ukrainian Defence Ministry's Spokesperson for ATO Andriy Lysenko said this at a press briefing, an OstroV correspondent reports.
"Yesterday the situation in the ATO area has worsened: the enemy pulled up to the front line a large number of heavy weapons, including artillery of 152 mm caliber and used it", - A.Lysenko said.
Militants also used tanks, mortars, IFVs and grenade launchers.
According to the speaker, Ukrainian troops are forced to open fire in response.
