The Ukrainian government approved regulations for transporting goods to and from the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) zone in Donbass at a meeting in Kyiv on Wednesday, - OstroV’s correspondent reported.

"The draft procedure aims at defining the legal regime of transporting goods, including duly recognized as humanitarian aid to/from the area of the ATO through the contact line and/or its borders, and once again confirms that the Donbass is Ukraine", - the head of the SBU antiterrorist center Gennadiy Kuznetsov said, introducing a new procedure.

He noted that the procedure allows transporting of food and medicines only as part of humanitarian supplies, as well as products which are critically needed in the steel and energy sectors of Ukraine.

"Business entities are prohibited to transfer to/from the temporary uncontrolled territory goods except for food, which is part of humanitarian supplies. Medicines are also allowed only as part of humanitarian cargo, goods and products for the operation and maintenance or necessary in the metallurgy process, mineral processing, coal mining and energy sector, critical infrastructure, and so on", - Kuznetsov said.

In his turn, Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said that "and so on" wording should be removed from the text.
