"By order of the dispatcher of the Black Sea Regional Dispatch Office (a branch of JSC System Operator of the Unified Energy System), a temporary electricity supply restriction has been introduced in the Republic of Crimea. This is a necessary measure. It is required to prevent overloading of the power grid and avoid a failure of the entire energy system", - said a statement by Krymenergo, the energy company controlled by Crimea's occupation authorities.
According to the statement, because the decision to cut power was made by the "system operator", there are currently no detailed hourly outage schedules available for individual power grid districts.
