“The owner of the propaganda channel ‘Tsargrad’, ‘orthodox’ oligarch Konstantin Malofeev, demanded the use of tactical nuclear weapons against Ukraine. The reason for the outburst was statements by Ukrainian weapons manufacturer Denys Shtilerman about the imminent creation of ballistic missiles capable of reaching moscow”, - the Telegram channel “The Moscow Times” reported on April 7.

“A new war that must be ended. Right now. Because Shtilerman is indeed already preparing missiles. Because Zelensky has set the task of mobilizing another million ordinary russian guys in 2026. Their deaths must not be allowed”, - Malofeev wrote in a column for “Tsargrad”, expressing particular concern for the fate of “Lubyanka, the General Staff of the Ministry of Defense, and [the aerospace defense concern] ‘Almaz-Antey’”.

The oligarch justified his call with historical parallels to the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

“Tactical nuclear weapons today have roughly the same power as those dropped on Japan. Russia’s arsenal includes more than one and a half thousand such warheads. And if one of them can put an end to a four-year war — it must do so”, - he stated.

Malofeev proposed delivering a strike with a yield of 20–25 kilotons on Western Ukraine, warning the local population 72 hours in advance, and after the attack — to carry out “denazification” up to “public executions of banderite leaders and the leadership of the TCR”.

The “orthodox” oligarch concludes his column with a scenario of the “future”, in which, according to him, “in 80 years the head of a free Ukraine comes to brotherly Russia and thanks the descendants of Tu-160 pilot Ivanov, who ended the bloody war where our brothers were dying, where we were killing ourselves, where Epstein’s satanists ruled the genocide of the Russian triune people”.
