Andrey Torgashov, the russian top military officer who was blown up in his own car in moscow, served in the Main Intelligence Directorate and fought against Ukraine, according to russian media.
He was responsible for communications in his unit and participated in combat operations in Ukraine.
Russian authorities are investigating the possibility of Ukrainian involvement in the assassination attempt on the high-ranking occupier. As previously reported, the deputy head of the satellite communications military unit, Andrey Torgashov, was blown up in his own Land Cruiser in moscow. The explosion occurred in his car at 6:30 a.m. when he got behind the wheel. Torgashov survived but lost both feet. A female passenger, likely Torgashov's wife, was also injured.
