The President of Ukraine signed a decree on the dismissal of Oleksii Danilov from the position of Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council. This is stated in the corresponding document on the official website on March 26.
"To dismiss Oleksii Danilov from the position of Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine", - the decree says.
By another decree, a new Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council was appointed - the Chairman of the Foreign Intelligence Service - Lytvynenko.
It is known that Lytvynenko has been heading the Foreign Intelligence Service since July 23, 2021. Prior to that, from April 4, 2014, to August 13, 2019, he was the Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council.
Oleh Ivashchenko has also been appointed as the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service.
