Russian occupiers launched nearly 20 rockets at civilian objects in Zaporizhzhia during the early hours of March 22, resulting in casualties, missing persons and injuries. Ivan Fedorov, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast Military Administration, reported this during the Ukrainian national news TV marathon and in his Telegram channel.

"We have one confirmed fatality and at least eight injured individuals. Infrastructure objects, private homes, and apartment buildings have been destroyed or damaged. At least two people are missing. Four homes have been completely destroyed, and over 40 have been damaged", - noted Fedorov.

He emphasized that this was the most extensive shelling of Zaporizhzhia in a year.

"Over the course of several hours, the enemy launched nearly 20 rockets at Zaporizhzhia, targeting critical infrastructure. They exclusively hit civilian objects. Infrastructure objects have been destroyed or damaged, and vehicular traffic on the dam of the hydroelectric power station has been disrupted", - the statement added.
