Putin stated that supposedly the plans of the russian army do not include strikes on Ukraine's civilian infrastructure. He voiced such blatant falsehood during a meeting in the kremlin with his trusted individuals regarding the elections.

Commenting on the question of moving the "special military operation" ("SMO") to russian territory, the russian dictator noted that they are working on this issue. "Of course, we can respond in kind... [to carry out strikes] on civilian infrastructure and on all other objects of a similar nature that the enemy targets", - putin said, implying that russian forces have refrained from such actions since February 2022.

"But we have our own views on this matter and our own plans. We will proceed with what we have outlined", - he reiterated, indicating that the "SMO" is proceeding according to plan.

As reported earlier, russian occupiers systematically launch rocket and bomb attacks on Ukraine's civilian infrastructure. During the winter of 2022-23, in particular, the enemy attempted to completely destroy Ukraine's energy system. A large number of civilians perished under the rubble of residential buildings, shopping centers, in transportation, and so on. Meanwhile, russian propaganda attempts to convince russians that the "SMO" forces allegedly "precisely target exclusively military objects of the Armed Forces of Ukraine".
