The authorities of the Belgorod oblast have decided to restrict traffic in the border areas with Ukraine. This was announced by the governor of the oblast, Vyacheslav Gladkov, in a video address.

According to him, from March 20, checkpoints will be set up in several settlements of the Belgorod region, through which the authorities will effectively block the movement of residents.

The restrictions will affect the border settlements of Kozinka, Grayvoron, and some others.

Gladkov assured that local residents will be allowed to enter and exit these settlements if necessary.
