Russian occupiers have carried out new strikes on the Donetsk oblast over the past day: one person was killed, five injured, and 16 civilian objects were damaged. This was reported on March 19 by the Donetsk oblast police in Telegram.

"Over the past day, the enemy fired at the region 1,600 times, including 8 attacks on residential areas. Attacks targeted 5 settlements: Ocheretyne, Maksymivka, Mykolaivka, Novobakhmutivka, and Umanske. 16 civilian objects were damaged - 13 residential buildings, a club building, a trade kiosk, and a power transmission line. Aviation and artillery strikes by russia hit Ocheretyne, destroying private and multi-apartment buildings. One person was killed, and another was injured", - the message said.

"An air strike on Novobakhmutivka damaged 4 private houses. Occupiers dropped KAB-250 on Mykolaivka, damaging two private houses. As a result of artillery shelling in Maksymivka, 5 private houses, a club, and a kiosk were affected. Additionally, on the night of March 19, around 2:30 a.m., russian troops struck Selydove with two rockets. Four residents aged 58 to 82 were injured. 24 private houses and 4 civilian cars were damaged", - the police stated.
