Ukraine will receive necessary weaponry from the United States of America, enabling it not only to retain territory but also to exert further pressure on russians. This was stated by Republican Senator Lindsey Graham during a briefing in Kyiv, as reported by RBC-Ukraine.
"Here's what I hope will happen in 2024. America will send Ukraine the weaponry you desperately need, and in the future, you will not only hold onto territory but also exert further pressure on russians in 2024, once you receive ATACMS to knock the bridge down linking Crimea to russia. I want 2024 to be the year of qualitative advantage for the Ukrainian military", - Graham said.
The senator also promised that Ukraine would receive more 155-caliber shells by the current year and expressed hope that F-16 aircraft would be deployed in the war as early as this year.
Additionally, Graham emphasized the importance of passing a mobilization bill.
"We need more people in the line. So I hope there will soon be movement on the mobilization law, so that by autumn, you'll have more troops ready to be deployed into battle", - he said.
