The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, visited several "hotspots" on the Eastern front today, March 13. This was reported in his Telegram channel.

"The day started with a move to the operational area on the direction of active enemy actions. I worked in two brigades, where the situation is gradually becoming more complex, and there is a threat of the enemy's advancement into the depth of our battle formations", - wrote Syrsky.

After a detailed analysis and assessment of the situation together with the commanders and officers of the headquarters, all necessary decisions were made to reinforce reserves, ammunition, and electronic warfare means of the specified military units. This will ensure the stability of our defense on this front section.

According to him, overall, the operational situation on the Eastern direction remains difficult. The enemy continues offensive actions, concentrating the main efforts in the areas of Terny, Ivanivske, Berdychi, Tonenke, Verbove, and Robotyne.

"At the same time, probably due to the high level of losses, the enemy's activity on other sections of the front has noticeably decreased. This happened thanks to timely management decisions to strengthen the defense of this front section, the timely replacement of units that lost combat capability, and the courage and resilience of our soldiers. In two weeks of intense battles, the enemy suffered extremely high losses. However, all the settlements they tried to capture remained under our control", - he noted.

Syrsky, along with the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, awarded state and departmental awards to our servicemen who distinguished themselves in battles against the russian aggressor.

"However, there are still enough issues to be addressed on-site, so we continue our work", - he emphasized.
