Russian occupiers shelled Myrnohrad in the Donetsk oblast on the evening of March 12, resulting in preliminary reports of 2 fatalities and 5 injuries. The Donetsk Oblast Prosecutor's Office reported this on Telegram.

"On March 12 at 23:00, russian forces shelled Myrnohrad, presumably using the hybrid aviation missile Grom-E1. The projectile hit a residential area, where a 19-year-old man, a 26-year-old man, a 44-year-old man, a 46-year-old woman, and a 77-year-old woman were injured. The victims suffered blast injuries, head and body contusions, as well as fractures. Rescuers retrieved the bodies of a 76-year-old woman and a 68-year-old man from the rubble of one of the buildings", - the statement said.

As a result of the shelling, four multi-story buildings and nine vehicles were damaged.






Under the procedural guidance of the Donetsk Oblast Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated in a criminal case regarding the violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

As reported, on March 12, russia launched 10 missile and 84 aviation strikes against Ukraine.
