Local prosecutors are documenting the aftermath of rocket attacks by russian occupiers in Sloviansk and Kramatorsk in the Donetsk oblast, resulting in an increase in the number of deaths and injuries. This was reported by the Donetsk Oblast Prosecutor's Office on February 18th on Telegram.
On February 17, 2024, at 19:40, the russian army launched a rocket strike on the center of Sloviansk. As a result of the invaders' attack, the building housing the resilience point and social cafeteria was damaged. At that time, a guard was in the building engulfed in flames. Presumably, rescuers discovered his body among the rubble on the morning of February 18, 2024.
Also, the enemy targeted Kramatorsk with rockets. One of them hit a private residential house where three civilians were present.
"A 46-year-old mother and her 23-year-old son, whose bodies were extricated, sustained injuries incompatible with life. During search and rescue operations, the remains of the body, presumably the grandmother of the deceased young man, were also found. In addition, an elderly couple, pensioners, who suffered injuries while in their own home, were taken to the hospital. The man is 78 years old, and his 75-year-old wife", - noted the prosecutor's office.
