The main strike by Russians on Selydovo targeted the maternity ward, according to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenko.
"A difficult night in Selydovo, the Donetsk oblast: the enemy shelled a medical facility and a residential building. 15 people were affected: 3 died (including a child and a pregnant woman), another 12 were injured (including 4 children). The occupiers struck the hospital around 1 a.m. The main strike was on the maternity ward. There were almost 200 people in the facility at that time, dozens of patients were in critical condition. They were evacuated to other medical institutions in the region. Rescuers managed to save a 6-month-old baby. 6 people, including a child, were injured. The bodies of 3 people, including a child born in 2015, were recovered from the rubble", - noted Klymenko.
Additionally, russian forces targeted a residential 5-story building. An entire entrance was completely destroyed. One person was rescued from the rubble, and 6 people were injured, including 3 children born in 2007, 2011, and 2016.
"The police, rescuers - our forces are always where help is needed. They save, protect, and document the war crimes of the russian federation. The enemy will not escape punishment", - he emphasized.
