Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of russian president vladimir putin, declined to comment on the destruction of the russian landing ship "Caesar Kunikov" off the shores of the occupied Crimea. Regarding his reluctance to comment on the resonant losses of the russian Armed Forces, he informed russian journalists on Wednesday.
"Look, this is directly related to the course of a special military operation (russian aggression against Ukraine – OstroV). Accordingly, this is the prerogative of the Ministry of Defense. I suggest that you rely on the statements of our military. I cannot say anything about it", - he responded when asked whether the Ukrainian Armed Forces would destroy the entire Black Sea Fleet of the russian federation.
The Ministry of Defense of russia is also not providing any comments on this matter.
