As a result of a russian rocket strike on Selydove, a pregnant 38-year-old woman and a 36-year-old mother with her 9-year-old son were killed. This information was reported by the regional prosecutor's office of the Donetsk oblast.
"Under the procedural guidance of the Donetsk regional prosecutor's office, a pre-trial investigation is being conducted in a criminal case regarding the violation of the laws and customs of war (part 2 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). On the night of February 14, 2024, russian troops carried out a massive rocket attack on the city of Selydove. At 23:30, the occupiers struck a five-story residential building, resulting in the destruction of an entire entrance. Five people were injured to varying degrees, including three children aged 7, 12, and 16. Also, a 52-year-old man who was passing by the multi-story building suffered bodily injuries. The victims with mine-explosive injuries, spinal fractures, bruises, and shrapnel wounds were taken to the hospital", - noted the prosecutor's office.
By 01:00 a.m., the army of the aggressor state shelled a medical facility. Three civilians were killed by the impact of weapons - a 38-year-old woman who was in the hospital for pregnancy monitoring and a 36-year-old mother with her 9-year-old son. Six patients were also injured, ranging from a 76-year-old to a 6-month-old baby. In addition, multi-story residential buildings and cars were damaged. Law enforcement officers continue to work at the scene.
