Russia is not in the mood for security and cooperation in Europe: the State Duma and the Federation Council will announce the suspension of work in the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly on February 21. This was announced by the Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, Leonid Slutsky.
"We consider it beneath our dignity to pay a significant contribution under such an attitude towards us. After the victory in the specisl military operation, we will reassess the position of these gentlemen, and we do not exclude the possibility of returning in the future. We are not leaving the OSCE as an organization; we are talking about suspending work in the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly", - he said.
The OSCE Parliamentary Assembly is an inter-parliamentary organization that brings together 57 states from Europe, Asia, and North America, members of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe.
