In the Luhansk oblast, the border guards of the "Pomsta" Assault Brigade repelled the assault of russians and captured prisoners of war. This was reported by the head of the Luhansk Oblast State Administration, Artem Lysohor, in his Telegram channel on February 1.

"Among the captives there are: a conscript from Ryazan, a contract soldier - a squad commander - from Pskov, and also a 'migrant worker' from Grozny - a Chechen who signed a one-year contract several months ago", - the message said.

It is noted that the first two occupiers were captured during the assault on the border guards' positions in the Luhansk oblast.

"There were 7-8 invaders. One surrendered, said there is another who also came out after some time. And four are still somewhere there. There is no food, and sooner or later they will either freeze or surrender", - the message quotes the words of a fighter with a callsign "Udav".

It is noted that the Chechen tried to hide on the territory of the Donetsk oblast, but in the search for a safe haven, he fell into the hands of the border guards.

Earlier, it was reported that border guards from Luhansk returned from russian captivity, having been considered missing for almost 2 years.
