The special forces unit "Group 13" of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine destroyed the missile boat "Ivanovets" of the russian Black Sea Fleet on the night of January 31 to February 1. This information was reported by the Telegram channel of the agency.
It is noted that the operation became possible with the support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and the United24 platform.
The enemy's vessel was located at anchor in Lake Donuzlav in temporarily occupied Crimea.
As a result of direct hits to the hull, the russian ship sustained damage incompatible with further movement. The "Ivanovets" listed sternwards and sank. The estimated cost of the lost aggressor state's ship is approximately $60-70 million.
According to preliminary information, the search and rescue operation by the russian occupiers in Donuzlav was unsuccessful, as mentioned by the Main Intelligence Directorate.
