A large fire broke out near the Belbek airfield in the northwest of Sevastopol on January 31. Several local Telegram channels reported this information.

"There's a fire on the north side of Sevastopol, presumably in the area of the Belbek airfield. It can be seen from various parts of the city. Many fire trucks are heading to that area, according to subscribers. It's smoking heavily", - wrote the Telegram channel "Krymsky Viter", publishing photos from its subscribers.

At the same time, the "governor" of the occupied Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, reported the operation of air defense systems in the city and the falling of debris in an empty area.

"The air defense system is operating in Sevastopol. According to preliminary data, an aerial target has been shot down. At the moment, there are reports of debris falling in the area of Liubymivka. All services have been directed to the scene. Monitoring of the situation continues", - wrote Razvozhaev.

Earlier reports mentioned explosions occurring in several areas of Crimea: Simferopol, Sevastopol, Saky, Feodosia, and the closure of the Crimean bridge.
