Ukraine has brought back 207 Ukrainian soldiers and civilians from russian captivity, as announced by President Volodymyr Zelensky on January 31 on his Telegram channel.

"Our people are home. 207 guys. We are bringing them back despite everything. We remember each and every one in captivity. Warriors and civilians. We must bring everyone back. Working on it", - wrote Zelensky.

In turn, the Head of the President's Office, Andriy Yermak, stated that they were able to free soldiers from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard, the State Border Guard Service, and the National Police—ranging from privates to sergeants and officers.

Among them are many defenders of Mariupol and military personnel who were stationed at Azovstal, Zmiinyi Island, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Kherson, and Sumy directions.

As reported earlier, on January 26, the bodies of 77 deceased servicemen were returned to Ukraine.
