This demand comes after Israel accused 12 employees of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) of being involved in a violent attack by HAMAS on October 7, 2023.
"Of course, he is responsible as the Secretary-General of the UN. Guterres should resign, or the UN should replace him", - said Katz.
Israel has been in dispute with the UN for several months after Guterres, in October, stated that the HAMAS attack "did not happen in a vacuum" and accused Israel of conducting a "56-year suffocating occupation".
