It will be an open session during which Judge Joan E. Donoghue, President of the Court, will read out the decision.

"The International Court of Justice will render its judgment on the merits in the case concerning the Application of the International Convention for the Suppression of the Financing of Terrorism and the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (Ukraine v. Russian Federation)", - the report says.

The session will be broadcast live.

Ukraine filed this lawsuit against russia with the UN Court on January 16, 2017. It is related to the aggressor's actions in Crimea and Donbas. The lawsuit accuses russia, in particular, of supporting illegal armed groups; the downing of the Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 over the occupied part of the Donetsk oblast; discrimination against Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars; the prohibition of the activities of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people; as well as disappearances, murders, and unlawful searches and detentions in occupied Crimea.

It was previously reported that the UN will request over $3 billion from donors to assist Ukraine in 2024.
