Some Ukrainian prisoners of war from the list declared by russian propagandists, who allegedly were on board the Il-76 plane that crashed in the Belgorod oblast, have already been exchanged. This was stated by the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets, as reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing Sky News.

According to the ombudsman, the list of prisoners of war that russian media "sent" on Tuesday aboard the Il-76 contains discrepancies.

"For example, we found citizens of Ukraine on the list who had already been exchanged before", - noted Lubinets.

It was previously reported that Ukrainian Main Intelligence Directorate stated that the FSB at the last moment prohibited russian military-political VIP persons from boarding the Il-76.

As reported, russia is using the Il-76 crash to raise doubts in the West about the continuation of military support for Kyiv and to generate discontent in Ukraine.
