The rocket strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the training ground in Ilovaisk targeted the operators of UAVs who had come for retraining. This was reported by the "war correspondent" Roman Saponkov on his Telegram channel.

"A missile strike from the HIMARS MLRS of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on a gathering of UAV operators", - he said, citing eyewitness accounts.

"The head of the 'Judgment Day' project training courses (Sudoplatov) distributed coordinates through a bot to unknown individuals without any verification of where to come for training. The HIMARS missile hit there. There are casualties", - he reported.

"Currently, the management of the 'Judgment Day' project is trying to cover up the situation and make the deceased operators the scapegoats. This situation is not unique", - the "war correspondent" wrote. According to him, there were more than 150 occupiers at the training ground at the time of the missile attack, and only the UAV operators who came for the courses were killed.

As reported earlier, on January 24, as a result of the strike on the training ground near the occupied Ilovaisk in the Donetsk oblast, 24 russian servicemen were eliminated.
