On January 22, a statement refusing registration for the elections was submitted to the CEC of the russian federation, signed by more than 20 people. This information was reported by activist Sergey Antonov from Udmurtia and the russian opposition Telegram channel BRIEF.

"According to the authors of the statement, there are two main reasons for refusing putin's registration. The first one is the illegal amendments to the Constitution that gave putin the opportunity to be re-elected. The second reason is violations during the signature collection process - according to Antonov's calculations, 60,000 signatures were collected illegally, exceeding the 5% margin of error allowed by law", - writes BRIEF.

It is noted that among those who signed the statement are former State Duma deputies, municipal deputies, and public figures.
