The Republic of Lithuania has endorsed a long-term military assistance package for Ukraine, totaling €200 million for Ukraine and will send ammunition, generators, detonation systems in January, and M577 armored personnel carriers in February, according to Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda. He made this announcement during a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Vilnius, as reported by Ukrinform.

"We continue to support courageous Ukrainians in their struggle through all means: military, economic, and political. In the Lithuanian National Defense Council, we approved a long-term military aid package for Ukraine totaling 200 million euros. In January, we will once again send ammunition, generators, detonation systems to Ukraine, and in February - M577 armored personnel carriers", - he stated.

The Lithuanian President emphasized that Lithuania will train Ukrainian soldiers and strengthen cooperation in the defense industry. Nauseda referred to the signed agreements between the Ukrainian and Lithuanian defense industries as another example of the close military cooperation between the two countries.

It is worth noting that President Volodymyr Zelensky visited Vilnius, and during his visit, Ukraine and Lithuania agreed on joint production of defense equipment, particularly anti-drone systems.
