As of the morning of January 9, 2024, over 1,711 children have been affected in Ukraine as a result of full-scale armed aggression by russia, as stated in the Prosecutor General's Office report.

According to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 520 children have died, and more than 1,191 have sustained injuries of varying severity.

The highest number of casualties among children occurred in the following regions: 504 in the Donetsk oblast, 313 in the Kharkiv oblast, 145 in the Kherson oblast, 130 in the Kyiv oblast, 111 in the Dnipropetrovsk oblast, 100 in the Zaporizhzhia oblast, 97 in the Mykolaiv oblast, 72 in the Chernihiv oblast, and 67 in the Luhansk oblast.

These figures are not final, as work continues to establish them in areas of active combat, on temporarily occupied and liberated territories.
