A high-ranking official of the European Union, commenting on Hungary's blocking of crucial decisions on initiating membership negotiations with Ukraine and allocating €50 billion in aid, admitted that member states are fed up with the behavior of the Hungarian authorities. The European official made this statement anonymously while speaking with journalists in Brussels, as reported by European Pravda.

"I do not have the right to say this as an official representative of the EU, but member states are fed up with this because, without any apparent reason, they are undermining the EU's unity on an issue that is vital to the EU", - stated the official.

The European official added that 26 EU member states can make key decisions without Hungary if it continues to block them.

"And we will not hesitate to say it to show that Hungary is putin's Trojan horse because what they are doing increasingly resembles the behavior of a Trojan horse", - he emphasized.

At the same time, the official noted that if, for example, Slovakia starts behaving like Hungary, "then there will be 25 EU countries".

"But the overwhelming majority of member states will still be on your side", - the official said.

Recall that earlier, Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo criticized his Hungarian counterpart Viktor Orban, stating that the EU is not a "Hungarian bazaar".
