Speaker of the House of Representatives Mike Johnson assured Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky of support against the "cruel putin invasion". The speaker said this following a meeting with Zelensky on December 12, as reported by Voice of America.
"We had a wonderful meeting with President Zelensky, and I reiterated to him that we stand with him against putin's cruel invasion. The American people stand in defense of freedom, and they are on the right side of this fight", - stated Johnson after the meeting with Zelensky.
As reported, during the meeting with Zelensky, Biden announced that he had just signed an agreement to allocate $200 million to Ukraine.
