President Volodymyr Zelensky praised the assault group of the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo, which successfully repelled an attack and regained control of a terricon near the occupied city of Horlivka. He announced this on Telegram on December 12.
"In spite of challenging conditions, our heroes—the assault group of the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo—have reclaimed one of the terricons near Horlivka and seized enemy positions. Now our flag waves over the terricon. Horlivka is Ukraine! Donbas is Ukraine!", - noted Zelensky.
