The new Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk, has stated that his government will demand the full mobilization of the West to aid Ukraine. This was reported by Onet on December 12.
"We also need to speak with one voice about Ukraine. This should unite us as well. An attack on Ukraine is an attack on all of us. We will demand the full mobilization of the West to help Ukraine. I can no longer listen to politicians talking about being tired of the situation in Ukraine. They tell President Zelensky that they are tired of the situation", - noted Tusk.
He also added that assistance to Ukraine is crucial, but at the same time, Poland "must remain persistent when it comes to interests, especially those of Polish farmers".
Donald Tusk emphasized that Ukrainians are fighting for something "extremely important".
"Their struggle began with Maidan, and they are fighting to join the Western world community. Only a united West can help Ukraine win the fight for democratic values. In a few dozen hours, I am going to Brussels with the hope that we will convince our allies to defend democratic values and Ukraine from russian aggression", - stated Tusk.
