More than 10 thousand civilians have been killed or injured in the occupied part of the Donetsk oblast over the 20 months of the so-called "special military operation" (SMO). This was stated in a report from the "JCCC of the DNR".
It is noted that 4760 civilians were killed, and 5563 were wounded. This statistics does not include thousands of Mariupol residents who became victims of russian "assistance" to Donbas during the city's siege.
As reported earlier, according to the OSCE reports, in 2021, preceding the russian aggression, on the territory of the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts on both sides of the contact line, 16 people were killed, and 75 were injured.
