Denmark has announced the allocation of its 17th military aid package to Ukraine, totaling 2.2 billion Danish kroner ($313 million). This was reported by the Ministry of Defense on April 17.

"200 million kroner will be allocated for investments in the Ukrainian defense sector. Among other things, the funds will be used to strengthen maritime capabilities, purchase ammunition, drones, and produce missile components", - the statement said.

"I thank Denmark and Minister of Defense Trine Bramsen personally for the unwavering support and strengthening of Ukraine's defense capability", - said Defense Minister Rustem Umerov.

"In March, I visited a number of Ukrainian defense industry enterprises in Kyiv, and it became clear that there is great potential for future cooperation, which can supply the necessary equipment to Ukraine, helping to change the situation on the battlefield", - said Danish Defense Minister Trine Bramsen.

As reported, Denmark will transfer 19 F-16 aircraft to Ukraine.
